Common questions about working with SMT Consulting Group.

Three areas. Consultancy covers accounting, bookkeeping, tax, payroll, CPA & CFO services and business registration. IT services cover digital marketing, graphics design, e-commerce development, ERP and mobile app development, and SEO. We also run professional and business training programmes.

Pricing depends on scope — the number of transactions, entities, employees or deliverables involved. We give a clear quote after the initial consultation rather than a generic rate card, so you know exactly what's included before work starts.

Once scope and terms are agreed, most consultancy engagements begin within one to two weeks. IT and development projects start once requirements are documented, which we can usually complete within the same timeframe.

You are assigned a lead contact for your engagement who coordinates the specialists working on it — an accountant, a tax preparer, a developer or a marketer — so you have one point of contact rather than several.

Yes. Every engagement is covered by a written agreement setting out scope, fees, confidentiality and responsibilities before any work begins.

We work across commonly used accounting, payroll and ERP platforms and can advise on the right fit for your business rather than requiring you to adopt a specific tool.
